Innovative Partnerships Group (IPG) is looking for a Business Analyst to join our fast-growing organization. The Business Analyst will provide analytical expertise across internal functions including but not limited to: Finance, Operations, HR functions as well as potential client work in our Valuation & Consulting Division.
 
The Business Analyst will work with business studios to understand their processes, identify inefficiencies, and provide in-depth business knowledge and advanced technical support to one or more business areas through developing ad hoc analysis/reporting, as well as designing and programming complex, new processes/reports.
 
The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in finance and operations. The candidate will also have experience working with cross-functional teams and be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. The Business Analyst must be able to work independently and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Duties

  • Maintaining department records, including spreadsheets and databases that track suppliers, sales, and customers
  • Proven ability to build financial models and translate outputs to summarized insights and recommendations
  • Assist VP with new hire offer letters, onboarding and administration, headcount planning and reporting & business compensation budgets (including, bonus and employee benefits).
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support the evaluation of new opportunities and other key business decisions
  • Assist CBD team on building CRM reporting tools and dashboards to ensure data is being propertly inputted, collected and analyzed
  • Working closely with Valuation and Consulting division on Data Insights and Reporting and helping analyze data from survey studies etc.
  • Research and support the Business Development team, such as performing searches for potential clients and gathering information that could be useful to the team when pitching a product or service
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting weekly and monthly business operations performance, bringing known and potential issues to the attention of the appropriate management levels of the business.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Monitor KPIs and other metrics to identify areas of improvement
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines
  • Support strategic and financial planning processes with modeling and analysis
  • Ability to work independently and navigate multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Other activities as directed in connection with supporting business
  • This role may require limited travel

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, human resources or related field
  • Proven track record of clear and successful project management as well as a high degree of confidence in external C-level meetings under tight deadlines
  • Strong business understanding and experience, developing, quantifying and articulating strategies and tactics to drive incremental efficiencies and enterprise growth
  • A team-first mentality and can thrive in a fast-paced, high-octane organization
  • Software skills (MSOffice: Excel, Word, PowerPoint; iOS Creative: Keynote, Pages; Salesforce CRM; other sales prospecting tools)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including presentation
