Director of Business Development and Consulting

Job Description

IPG360 is looking for a Director of Consultative Business Development to join a fast-growing start-up operating at the intersection of sports, entertainment and technology. This individual will be integral in helping to build out the Consultative Business Development Studio, driving sales, responsible for client management, coordination of the internal resources. The strong business acumen and revenue oriented approach is a must for this role. While individual contributor, the right candidate will be mindful of the team collaboration and able to leverage different studios to drive business development, improve process and efficiencies. Must possess strong interpersonal skills.

Job Duties

Lead the business development efforts on one to two prestige properties at IPG360

Manage the business development pipeline in IPG360’s proprietary CRM system housed in Salesforce

Manage day to day business development activities with client and IPG360 studio executives

Manage the buildout and execution of next generation business development tools, including: Custom partner portal sites, C-level presentations, State of the art proposals, Custom ROI analysis , IPG360 Brand Valua+or reports, Shock and Awe campaigns, Custom video and commercial vignettes, Interactive Term Sheets, Cost of Execution (COE) analysis, Long-form Agreements

Identify and work with IPG360 studio resources to find business partner prospects within IPG360 database of over 95,000 contacts as well as building new leads

Supervise sales personnel on day to day new business sales activities

Participate in weekly meetings and/or calls with clients and create agendas and pipeline reports

Other sales activities determined by IPG360

Required Skills

5-7 years of experience in business development, preferably in sports or entertainment

Deep rolodex of national brands, and brand agency contacts

Deep understanding of long-term partnerships

Ability to create new partnership assets, programs, and platforms, and think strategically

Ability to drive conversations with the clients

High degree of accountability for servicing clients

Team player mentality who can thrive in a fast-paced organization who can execute under tight deadlines

College degree required

Experience with Salesforce a plus

This role requires travel as needed
