Vice President, Business Development and Consulting, NYC

Job Description

IPG360 is looking for a Vice President, Consultative Business Development based in New York City to join our rapidly growing company operating at the intersection of sports, entertainment, real estate and technology. This individual will be integral as a key member of the firm and helping lead the Consultative Business Development Division including strategic and long-term partnership sales, key project and client management and internal leadership across the organization. A strong business acumen, entrepreneurial mindset and revenue-based approach are essential for this role. This individual must also have a team and culture-first mindset, an openness to think differently and a proven career of collaboration to drive business development, improve process and efficiencies. Finally, this candidate must also possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to carry internal/external projects with Owners & C-Level Executives.

Job Duties

Lead business development efforts on prestige accounts across across IPG360’s client portfolio

Manage day to day business development activities including ongoing outreach, phone calls, in-person meetings and pitches/presentations

Performance at a high level, measured by successful delivery of multi-year naming rights, B2B partners and founding sponsorships in the seven to nine-figure range

Lead communication with prestige accounts including ongoing project management

Project manage and supervise IPG360 personnel to generate new business & sales activities as determined by IPG360 leadership, and track against deadlines

Manage the business development pipeline across select prestige accounts with IPG360’s proprietary Salesforce CRM

Organize & drive weekly meetings and/or calls with clients and create agendas and pipeline reports including ongoing face-to-face and video conferencing

Collaborate with IPG360 Studio to identify key prospects within IPG360 database of over 95,000 contacts and contribute to further development of the database

Ongoing reporting on prestige accounts, projections & overall business to IPG360 studio heads on time-sensitive & business development related initiatives

If successful, this candidate will have the opportunity to run the NYC Office and build out IPG360’s East Coast Presence, based out of NYC

This role will require business travel on an ongoing basis, with focus on East Coast clients

Other sales activities determined by IPG360 leadership

Required Skills

7-10 years of solution-oriented experience in consulting, business development and/or partnership sales, preferably in sports, entertainment

Deep and proven Rolodex of global & domestic brands and agency contacts

Deep understanding of executing strategic and consultative sales programs

Proven ability to source, negotiate and close major long-term partnerships

Ability to think differently and create new partnership inventory, IP, and platforms as part of the sales process

Proven track record of clear and successful project & client management as well as a high degree of confidence in external C-level meetings under tight deadlines

A high degree of accountability for servicing clients on an ongoing and consistent basis

A team-first mentality and can thrive in a fast-paced, high octane organization

College degree required

Experience with Salesforce CRM system is a plus
