Consultative Business Development Coordinator

Job Description

IPG360 is looking for an Business Development Coordinator to join our fast-growing, start-up at the intersection of sports, entertainment, real-estate and technology. An innovative thinker, this individual will be working closely with the CEO to help organize his time more efficiently, and Consultative Business Development studio to build effective business development revenue generating strategies. With the strong instincts and a “get stuff done” mindset, this candidate will demonstrate an ability to proactively anticipate executive needs, promote collaboration between leadership and the team to drive efficiency throughout the organization, and galvanize business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage executive calendar(s), travel arrangements, memberships, events, daily/weekly agendas, and Rolodex
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings for the Business Development team
  • Help executive and the team prepare for the internal and external meetings, including research, draft agendas, assist in developing presentations, reviewing documents
  • Seat in the client meetings and calls to learn the business and provide effective support across various accounts
  • Communicate with the C-level executives across various industries and countries on behalf of CEO
  • Support IPG360’s team to ensure coordination, integration and balance between divisions
  • Processing expense reports for the CEO (other executives as required)
  • Provide sales and lead generation support to the CEO and Consultative Business Development studio including outreach/prospecting and coordinating calls/meetings
  • Salesforce CRM pipeline management
  • Support proposal, presentations and concept creation development
  • Stay abreast with related news and events and share regularly updates with the CEO and Consultative Business Development studio
  • Other sales and administrative activities as determined by the leadership

Experience & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • MBA or Post-graduate degree is a plus, but not required
  • 5-7+ years of solution-oriented experience in business development and/or partnership sales and consulting preferably in sports, entertainment
  • Deep and proven Rolodex of global & domestic brands and agency contacts
  • Deep understanding of executing strategic and consultative sales programs
  • Proven ability to source, negotiate and close major long-term partnerships
  • Ability to think differently and create new partnership inventory, IP, and platforms as part of the sales process
  • Proven track record of clear and successful project & client management as well as a high degree of confidence in external C-level meetings under tight deadlines
  • A high degree of accountability for servicing clients with consistency
  • Software skills (MSOffice: Excel, Word, Powerpoint; iOS Creative: Keynote, Pages; Salesforce CRM; other sales prospecting tools)
  • Collaborative and professional work ethic
