Overview

Comcast Spectacor hired Innovative Partnerships Group to bring in new revenue generating partners for the Philadelphia Flyers and their $350 Million renovation of the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

Challenge

Due to COVID-19, Comcast Spectacor had to close the venue at times or conduct events in front of limited capacities which resulted in lost gate revenues & opportunities to showcase the completed renovation projects.

Innovation

Innovative Partnerships Group & Comcast Spectacor worked together to develop a unique brand positioning within the market, leaning into the Wells Fargo Center's status as one of the most ticketed arenas in the world and the the technological advancements of the recent renovation. We crafted a story of how subsequent partners would play a massive role in creating a more engaged fan experience across the venue's calendar of events.

Result

SeatGeek & Comcast Spectacor agreed to a multi-year, seven-figure foundational partnership, in which SeatGeek became the exclusive ticket marketplace of the Wells Fargo Center, the brand's first pact within the National Hockey League (NHL).
